Remarks

Nine years shipping products for banks, agencies, and small teams. Most of that time has been in financial services: pension and fiduciary tools, credit-risk analytics used by Revolut, Izola Bank, and BNF Bank, and an agency finance platform covering cashflow, KPIs, and live accounting sync. I lead frontend, testing, and delivery on small teams, and I pick up backend, integrations, and DevOps when that is what the work needs. Graphic design and UX background. I mentor when I can.

Exposures

  1. Antler Digital

    Lead Software Engineer

Dec 2022 – PresentLondon, United Kingdom (remote)

Startup studio. Team of 3–4. I own frontend, testing, and a large share of delivery across client and internal products.

    1. Finance operating system for agencies. Turns project, invoice, and accounting data into cashflow, runway, and allocation views.

      • Built the product surface for cashflow forecasting, KPI dashboards, invoicing waterfalls, pipeline, operating expenses, and a weekly resource planner.
      • Shipped a read-only Xero sync (invoices, payments, reports, tax obligations) and a provider-neutral trunk so QuickBooks Online could follow the same ingest path.
      • Added scenario forecasting, FY-aware period controls, P&L workbook export, and an admin app for organisation onboarding.
      • Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Drizzle, PostgreSQL/Neon, Bun, Xero, QuickBooks.
    2. Wiserfunding

      2023 – Present

Credit-risk and portfolio analytics for lenders and investors. Clients include Revolut, Izola Bank, and BNF Bank. Lead frontend engineer for 3+ years.

      • Built the home dashboard as a widget board: sector risk heatmap, risk profile over time, macro environment, and recent assessments, with BFF caching for clustered reports.
      • Developed financial report and portfolio visualisations: choropleth maps, Gantt charts, packed bubbles, distribution charts, and AG Grid Enterprise views for comparison, custom charting, and export.
      • Shipped document intake for CSV/Excel and OCR/FX flows, including reporting-currency controls and WiserAI upload types.
      • Added Open Sanctions and legal-event signals to reports and portfolio alerts, plus NUTS regional concentration drill-down.
      • Built a multi-environment, multi-role test suite (Playwright, React Testing Library, Jest). Rewrote about 75% of the suite for Bun (about 6x faster than Jest) and a Playwright ID selector used by the backend team.
    3. PEW

      2026

Browser voxel FPS shipped as a Discord Activity. Custom Three.js engine, validated-relay multiplayer, Cloudflare and Railway hosting.

      • Built shop and wallet flows: Discord IAP for Token and Coin packs, Stripe Checkout for web, and coin spend on loadout skips.
      • Added playable maps (Sky Bridge, Dam), character and loadout appearance, and a public marketing site with live gameplay in the hero.
      • Helped move the game server onto Bun.serve and added a local Wrangler path for staging Pages publishes.
      • Stack: Vite, React, TypeScript, Three.js, Bun, Discord SDK, Stripe, Cloudflare.
    4. Dezaan (ofi)

      2024 – Present

Global cocoa and chocolate brand. Multilingual marketing site plus a gated product portal and a separate assistant service.

      • Cut the Gatsby marketing build from 12 minutes to 4 and tightened a large, locale-heavy codebase (en, de, ja, id, fr, en-GB, en-US).
      • Leading the move to Next.js App Router with route and SEO parity against the live Gatsby site.
      • Built the portal assistant as its own Mastra service: Contentful GraphQL tools, MCP with a write allowlist, DocumentDB RAG (Voyage embeddings), citation-domain rules, rate limits, and a 36-question golden-set eval in CI.
      • Designed and ran an AWS AgentCore POC behind the portal: CDK, Bedrock Claude and Nova, a private DocumentDB cluster, and an MCP gateway Lambda.
      • Added Payload CMS, browser-bound email OTP, domain-gated access, and approval onboarding for the portal.
    5. One Tribe

      2022 – Present

Carbon marketplace and event-impact reporting. Marketplace, subscriptions, and a live events calculator used for stand, meal, and flight emissions.

      • Rebuilt the marketplace in about 3 months: 7 UI libraries down to Tailwind, one state system (Recoil), SSR pages, and Auth.js.
      • Replaced a loss-making PayPal setup with Stripe. Peak volume over £100k/month, no customer downtime.
      • Built the BigCommerce client portal (Firebase functions, later Xata) and a Next.js admin so non-Stripe specialists could manage merchants and subscriptions.
      • Helped migrate Firebase to Xata with 1 day of downtime, no revenue loss, and only minor UI bugs.
      • Built the events carbon calculator (stands, meals, flights, PDF submissions) and, in 2026, a Bun monorepo for platform, impact pages, admin, custom stats, and carbon-report email sharing.
      • Added Bun unit tests and Playwright E2E in CI (CircleCI, then GitHub Actions). Financially sensitive code written with TDD.
    6. Capital Carboot

      2025 – 2026

Booking platform for London car-boot and antiques markets. Sellers book pitches. Buyers buy entry tickets.

      • Built the core booking product on Next.js 15 and Payload CMS 3: role-based admin/seller/buyer access, Stripe payments and webhooks, QR and calendar confirmations, and attendee CSV export.
      • Added sold-quantity tracking, early-setup add-ons, Google Calendar receipts, and Turnstile-protected forms.
      • Shipped Capital Antiques Market as a second branded site on the same MongoDB codebase, with its own emails, settings, seed data, and admin.
    7. Sports Icon

NFT marketplace for iconic sporting moments. Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Dapper for auth and trading.

  2. Lowkey

    Co-Founder

    2025 – PresentUnited Kingdom

NFC and QR tags for rental equipment in high-traffic shops (ski hire first).

    1. Platform

      • Built the platform: public NFC scan pages, shop console, bookings, and a week-view assignment Gantt synced from POS inventory.
      • Shipped TWICE Commerce webhooks (auto-provisioned) and an Easyrent poll sync, including unused tag ranges and ingest-gap reporting.
      • Designed a phone-first rack pairing loop (camera and manual tabs) so staff can bind physical tags to inventory on the shop floor.
      • Added per-shop branding on scan pages, de/it locale support, and a Hono/Bun scan API on Vercel.
      • Stack: Next.js, Hono, Bun, PostgreSQL, TWICE, Easyrent, Zod, i18n.

AI search platform. Admin console used by tens of thousands of users across hundreds of clients.

    1. Admin panel and Vapor

      • Built a URL-driven multi-step onboarding form and an end-to-end Cypress suite for the admin panel (Turbo monorepo).
      • One of three engineers on Vapor, an internal UI library with CircleCI and SonarQube. Every component tested.
